• Q. I would like to get Internet but I don’t have or need home phone service. Can I get Internet service without ordering phone service?
  A. Yes. We offer a type of Internet service known as “dry loop” or “stand-alone” Internet service. It does not require conventional phone service. Please visit our Internet page to learn about the many Internet speeds available

  A. You certainly can set up multiple computers with your CenturyLink™ DSL connection. You can do this once you have installed CenturyLink High-Speed Internet through either your Ethernet or USB port prior to setup of either your wired or wireless network.
• Q. What type of online security do Internet plans come with?
  A. For Windows® XP and Windows Vista™ systems, you can download the complete software kit for all your online security needs. Alternately, you can use MSN Virus Guard, MSN Firewall by McAffe and Webroot Spy Sweeper for MSN.
• Q. What type of television service does CenturyLink™ provide?
  A. CenturyLink™ makes DIRECTV® satellite television available to you. You can order it alone or you can receive special price breaks when you bundle it with one or more CenturyLink™ services.

  A. Wi-Fi Hot Spots are businesses or venues that offer wireless Internet access.
• Q. Where can I find CenturyLink™ Wi-Fi Hot Spots?
  A. CenturyLink™ Hot Spots are available at participating Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, and McDonald's locations across the nation.
• Q. How can I connect to a Wi-Fi signal at a CenturyLink™ Hot Spot?
  A. Visit the Wireless Internet Connections menu of your laptop. Select CenturyLinkWifi (or “attwifi” if you don’t see CenturyLinkWiFi). Log in using your billing telephone number and CenturyLink™ Customer Code or with your MyAccount ID and password (note: Windows Life ID is not currently available as a login option). This will connect you to the Internet via your Free CenturyLink Wi-Fi feature.
